How This Sitemap Generator Works
1
Enter URL
Type your website URL and set max pages, crawl depth, and sitemap settings.
2
Auto-Crawl
Our crawler discovers every internal page, following links up to the depth you set.
3
Download XML
Review the results table, then download the sitemap.xml to upload to your server.
What Gets Crawled?
The crawler starts at your homepage and follows every internal link (same domain only). It respects your robots.txt disallow rules, skips asset files (images, CSS, JS, PDFs), and stops at the page limit and depth you configure. Each discovered page is recorded with its URL, page title, HTTP status code, and crawl depth.
The generated XML follows the official sitemaps.org protocol with <loc>, <lastmod>, <changefreq>, and <priority> for each URL.
What to Do with the Sitemap
Upload the generated sitemap.xml to your website's root directory (e.g., https://example.com/sitemap.xml). Then submit it to Google Search Console (Sitemaps section) and Bing Webmaster Tools. Also reference it in your robots.txt file with Sitemap: https://example.com/sitemap.xml.
